H-TEAM @ Showcase Impactfestival 2021

On 20 January 2021, Impact 2021 will take place. During this online event prominent scientists and other speakers will discuss the impact of Dutch science on society. They do so on the basis of six themes, varying from scientific impact in times of COVID-19 to key technologies for new solutions. The speakers include minister Ingrid van Engelshoven, secretary of state Mona Keijzer, chairman of the Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra (NFU) Margriet Schneider, professors Ben Feringa, Beatrice de Graaf, Eveline Crone and Bart Weckhuysen, Special Envoy of Techleap.nl Constantijn van Oranje, vice-president of UMC Utrecht Arno Hoes and chairman of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Mirjam van Praag.

Complementary to the event there will be an online showcase where different interactive formats will be shown that align with the different themes. The H-TEAM will also be represented at this showcase with a motion graphic that shows what the H-TEAM entails (missions and goals), what it has achieved since 2013, what its current activities are and which plans lay ahead. Impact 2021 is organised by Vereniging van Universiteiten (VSNU), Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra (NFU), the ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate.
